The post-WWII Communist Era Albania flag was the official flag of Albania from 1946 - 1992). While the country underwent name changes three times during this period, the flag remained the same making this flag the longest used Albanian flag in the post-Ottoman Empire occupation era which started in the 15th century and ended in 1912.
